Want a manicure?

Preparing for an estate sale is not for the faint at heart! If you enjoy getting manicures then this may not be the path for you. There is nothing and I repeat nothing glamorous about this job. The first thing I do before starting a new home is cut off my fingernails no matter what the length, because before its over, they will be gone anyway. I may be working on a home that has been unoccupied for a few months with a lot of dust collection or spending "quality" time in an attic or garage. Thank God I don't suffer from allergies!

Hello Blog Nation!

This is my first blog so let me introduce myself and share with you the type of conversations you will find here.
I am known as the Estate Sale Lady and I  live in Arlington TX. I have been happily married for 9 years.
I decided to create this blog because this is a great forum for my trash divers, treasure seekers, garage salers and any other junk junkies to get a peep inside the "behind the scenes" journey of what they see as the finished product of an estate sale. I will share some humorous moments, touching moments, and moments that will make you scratch your head wondering why in the world would someone want to be in that line of work!
